How soon before or after buying new fish, acclimating them and putting them in the tank, should I do a PWC and what %?

Is the tank cycled and what are your current parameters? There are no specific rules, it is based on each tank. I do 50% a week on all my tanks, regardless on whether or not new fish are added. I wouldn't do it the same day so as to not stress the fish more, that's the only consideration I would have.
