How long do I have to keep my new fish in my quarantine tank before I place them in my main tank? I've heard 2 weeks is the right amount of time but could one week be long enough? Let me know.

Thanks

It's really up to you. 2 weeks to a month is usually the standard. Just keep in mind the longer you quarantine the less likely you will introduce a disease into your dt.

If its from the LFS I'd say one month, but wild caught fish (for those that do) up to 2 months.

I'd do 2 weeks, maybe less from a trusted source. I do 2 weeks even for my WC fish. I usually treat them for parasites as they come in because they are so common, but otherwise that's about it.
