Quarantine tank-cycling

Ok so I keep reading all the info about cycling and I got to thinking- how do you keep a quarantine tank cycled if there are no fishin it?

Constant ammonia adding. Or you could just bring media over from the DT into the QT if you'd like.

I dose ammonia when it's not in use. Not daily, more like when I remember to do it! Maybe 1-2x a week & there's no issue keeping it cycled.
