question about rainbow fish

Hi guys Im considering adding dwarf rainbow fish to my 40g, planted tank. The tank has been running for over a year it currently has 6 glowlight tetras, 1 pearl gourami, 5 yellow mountain minnows, 3 red wag platys. If I were to add dwarf rainbows and threadfin rainbows would they school together ? looking forward to hearing from you guys

Chances are they won't school together.
