Hey y'all, so my favorite fish store has some Severums for sale and I really want a couple for my 60 gallon tank. The only thing holding me back is their reputation for eating all things green. I only have Anubias and Java fern in my tank attached to driftwood because I can't keep any other plant alive for some reason :) so my question is: will my plants (Java fern and Anubias)be okay with a Severum or two in my tank or will they tear them to shreds? If it would help, I could feed them some lettuce or something regularly to keep their eyes off the plants...?

First the tank is not big enough as they get huge. As for the plants they will rip them to shreads. Before they kill the plants, even attached to driftwood, they will have great fun digging them up and tossing them about.

Okay. That's what I was thinking. Thank you for the response.
