Question about ** water fleas **

Was fishing platy fry out of hubby's 125g & noticed tiny jumping *fleas* for lack of a better term - what the hell are they? I've never seen anything like them before

I think your problem might be "Springtails" I don't think they actually live in the water, but under the frame ridges above the water line. I don't know anyway to get rid of them other than removing them manually. If you knock them in the water your fish might eat them. Just an educated guess.
