Question on caves

I recently read online somewhere that I can make a cave out of a clay pot with alittle chiseling. Was wondering what people's opinion on this is



Already started chipping away at it will post when complete

if its made out of tera cotta dont see any problems. Ive only used plastic pots in mine, but only temporary.

How can I tell if its made from terra cotta?

Red clay pots like the one you pictured are usually terra-cotta. Avoid the ones with the glaze on the surface to give it that shiny look. Yours looks like it's good to go. Plenty of members have use(d) terra-cotta pots in tanks.
