Quick response, what betta to choose?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an interest in aquariums or fish keeping!

The blue one looks like it has fin rot. The white one looks like a female. Do they have any others?
 
Probably a good choice. The first blue one didn't look so good

Yea it was a dumbo betta. They are really nice when full grown.

I'm not a big fan of the dumbos personally. They struggle to swim properly with their oversized fins.

You'll be happy with the crowntail. I wasn't a big fan of them but I gave one a shot and it's really growing on me.

As for the price on bettas, it depends on the region. A friend of mine moved up to petoskey which isn't real big on bettas. The price of the average ones down there is over $10
 
I agree about the crowntail. I originally hated the look of them, thinking they looked tattered. Now that I've had two, they're my favorites.

I live in florida. The crown tail was only $5.50.

Crowntails are $10 generally for me. But I saw half moons today for $36...I was checking out a new store. So many cool rarer fish that you don't get at most stores but they were expensive.
