raising blood worms.

Has anybody here raised thier own bloodworms. I have a pond that is loaded with them, and i feed them to my fish after throughly rinising them. But if i could raise them indoors, it would be alot easier to collect them. Any ideas?Thanks!

Unfortunately, bloodworms aren't really 'worms'. They are the larvae of small flies called 'midges' that lay their eggs in the water. The only way to raise bloodworms would be to have a swarm of midges flying around your house....which would probably NOT be a pleasant experience! 8O
