I'm raising worms in a vermicomposting container, so I can feed the worms to my ACFs, toads and newts. I've read that you can put "beneficial nematodes" (that you can buy online) in the soil so they will kill fruit fly larva in the soil. There are a lot of fruit flyies around my container so I'm considering doing this. Does anyone know if these nematodes can be harmful to the amphibians I feed them to? What about fish? I occasionally give my fish a chopped worm.
