I've been reading about how to tell the difference between male and female GBRs. Correct me if I'm wrong, the females have pink bellies, blue specs in the black spot, and black on pelvic fins. I recently added two GBR's to my tank and I had trouble at the pet store telling if they were males or females. I can only get a picture of one right now, the other is hiding in the back of the tank. Please ignore the dirty tank I'm in the process of rescaping with new substrate, and going to all live plants in this tank.
Heres one of the rams in question, I'll attempt to get a shot of the other. My goal was a male and a female, but I think I got two females. Also they went at it this morning pecking at each other. I'm not sure if that helps at all, I know they can be territorial.
This was the best shot I could get of the active GBR.
