Re did the aquascape

A funny thing happened during this. I have a group of 3 adult Angels. I was working down on the tank and thought one was dead as it was completely buried under approx 1/4" of the substrate flat as a pancake.

I thought I had hit it without noticing since them are fairly used to me being in the tank. I poked it and off he went. I have never seen one bury itself like that and I assume it was defense mechanism.

I've had the worst luck with live plants, maybe just decided on the wrong ones or the larger size substrate I used to have wasn't appropriate. They're stuck with the blue background, too much work to change considering the placement, size etc.
