i have 4 gouramis 2 gold 2 blue one rainbow shark, 2 CAE and a pictus i just recently added a dwarf cichlid they seem to be the only fish that can hold their own with the gouramis has anyone heard of killer gouramis lol?

i have an opaline gourami and he chases some of my cichlids around

Opaline gouramis can be very aggressive. What you are seeing is not usual. They are realted to bettas, I am surprised they are not beating each other up.

Gourami's can have very aggressive natures. Quite often you can't even manage to keep two of them together.

what i have found is they only chase each other if they are opalines since gold and blue are just diff color morphs it ok, they kill any other kind of gourami. maybe because i have 2 males and 2 females. they dont mess with the rainbow shark or the catfish or the chinese AE, and the dwarf cichlid can hold its own , man i love cichlids.
