I was thinking bout the blue water barrels that horse people use for water and feeding.

+1 to everything. I have fluvals on my tank, and when I clean the filter, I rinse the sponges in the tap water and replace the filter floss, but all the ceramic rings go untouched. Then I out dechlor in the filter and fill with tap.

cabezon, thanks I don't touch my rings either, as for the filters, they will be rinsed over and over until the are falling apart. I don't use filter floss at all. As for the decholr I don't use that either as we have well water and should not have chlorine in it.
