I have a 30 gallon heavily planted tank that houses 10 neon tetras and some Otto cats. I am thinking about adding some red cherry shrimp. Do you think they will be ok in this tank? Thanks

The adults will be fine. Some of the baby shrimp will get eaten but with enough cover, some will make it.

I agree, I think it will be ok. :) Since its heavily planted and neons are small, you should be ok. You may want to try testing it wiht just a few though to make sure before fully stocking the shrimp. It never hurts to test. But, its will probaly be fine. :)

I have neon tetras and red cherry shrimp with 2 sunset platys and assassin snails and they all get along well, more plants the better for shrimp

Ok, thanks all. I am going to add some of the shrimp to the tank this week to see how it goes. I will keep you updated, thanks for the advice.
