red crystal shrimp attitude

My rcs are reacting werd, some of it is trying to swim against my pump output, close from the water line. Doing it all day. Some slide the glass wall to, like there thing to get away. Is it normal behavior. I am thinking that the pump i added for water movement (aquaclear 30) is making noise and they are agitated and stress from it.

I don't think that's weird, especially if theres nothing else in the tank.

found one all most dead, this morning, HELP!
i did have a spike in nitrate nitrite 2 days ago, is that why.

fish in the tank are:
neon tetra 8
oto 3
pleco 1

here are my spec:

no nitrite,
no ammo,
no nitrate, 0.1
ph. 6.8
temps 23
food algae, pleco waffle. some has tetra food
water movement moderated
fert pps-pro
light 6 hours
gh 60
kh 60

nothing in the day, maybe at night, when there is no light.

i am thinking, maybe de gh fluctuation? 30 to 50 every day

That would definitely do it. Copper and inverts don't mix AT ALL.

I think i found out what's wrong. I have elevated iron. It's at 1 mg/L and my c02 may have bin badly calibrated. Other the that. I have to see if thanks fix the problem . Then they will see.

I have csm+b, copper 0.10%

Right now the shrimps are very happy, iron is at 0.12 and c02 control my pH to 6.8. normal pH is 7.5 with out c02.

Because i was probably overdosing csm+b. Copper most likely was also high.
