Ok, I love my aquariums, but I feel like I"m wasting electricity with them, but I"m not sure how much electricity these things actually use. I am aware that my refrigerator is a big part of my power bill problems, and my washing machine is right behind it, but I"m curious as to how much of an effect my two 29 gallon tanks might be having on my bill. I have a 100w heater in both and a couple of HOB filters, and the lights that came with the tanks. Nothing special. Should my fish tanks be a cause of concern from an electric standpoint? I like this hobby, but if I could find a way to make it more electric efficient, I wouldn't mind.
