renovating small tank...help with options
I've got 2 small tanks that I'm pulling out of my kids room; a 2g and a 5g.
They're both empty and dry, out of service for about 6 months now. It occured to me that perhaps I could use the larger as a hospital/breeding tank. Thing is, I've never really set up either, and would like to know how to set them up. From what I understand, I don't use gravel, but paint the underside of the tank? is that the inside underside or the outside underside? what kind of paint do I use? is that it? is there anything else I should do with it? What else can I do with these tanks? |

I'm not the most experienced with small tanks, but I can tell you if you plan on painting it, you would probably want to paint the outside. I can't foresee paint on the inside being too good for fish.

You only paint on the outside of the tank. If you want ideas for small tanks check out Purrbox's threads on her small tanks. Below her name you can click on her other tanks.
