Restarted my tank!

So after a long battle with algae... I gave up. I completely tore the tank down and restarted it last night. Tell me what ya think? Also i have one question! How do you clean sand?

Nice tank! And i believe you have to angle your siphon so that it sucks up the debris but not the sand
