Rhino Fish

Does anyone have any info about this fish? i found a site but it only had a picture of it, no other info what so ever.

Yes, they recently hit the shops as 'hump-headed glassfish' or some very similar name...a few have shown up on aquabid as well....typically run about $20-$30/fish, and the few that I have seen personally ran from 1"-3½" long.

Theres a little info on www.fishbase.org . You might want to look them up there.

i can't find any pics or other info on this thing. Theres nothing on aquabid either.

all i know is they grow up to 1 foot.

They are on fishbase. There is no pic, but there is basic info. Go check it out.

I can find no info on this fish either, other than the scientific name is barbus mariae. It is a cyprinid so I would make the assumption that its behavior and requirements would be similar to other barbs. I have never seen it for sale.
