Worried fish keeper - check.

Scary stuff. I taped bags over my tanks very well and put an airstone in each and ran the air pumps from outside for a a bit of positive pressure. Oh, tons of carbon too.

When I moved into my apartment (before I got my dogs) the place was infested with fleas from the previous tenets dog.

Exterminator bombed 3 times to get rid of them. The first time I was super anal about covering everything with trash bags. The second time I taped only enough to keep the bag on top of the tank, and the final time I just placed the bags on top. I left the filters running for all three.

Late post - all fish seem fine. Floors were pretty greasy from the bug spray do I'm glad I put the hood back in and put a sheet over the tank.
