I always feed him in the dark, but he just doesn't eat. I have tried everything. So, I really don't know what to do.

Is this a problem which a lot of you ropefish owner's have or not?

Not at all...my ropes eat during daylight hours right in front of me. Yours is eating something, though, or he would not still be alive.

Like I said before, he might get to like four or five bloodworms if he is really hungry but then he doesn't eat. I feed when when the lights are out, my lfs told me to feed him squid, he doesn't like squid, doesn't like feeder guppies, doesn't like beefheart, does really like the bloodworms too much. I also noticed him getting a bit thinner and he is being less active in the tank even at night. This is not normal. Anymore help will be very very much appreciated.
