Rosy Barb Question

Woah okay you guys have lost me lol.
I'm the biggest noob with this whole fish thing....

If I can't keep my 3 barbs and my bristlenose, what am I supposed to do with them?
And what (2)fish can I get that will be happy with the tank size and won't put grow it?

You can contact a local fish store or local aquatic society and see if there are any resources that take in donations.
You can check out nano fish such as micro rasboras and smaller tetras such as ember tetras.

Possible suggestions for a 6 gal tank: 1 male Betta OR female Betta but not both would be my first choice.

I wouldn't have a clue as I am in the U.S. but I'd call around to your local shops to see if they carry them or can get them for you.
