Can rosy red minnows be in the same tank as dalmatian mollys? Right now I have a 10 gallon tank with 2 rosy reds and a bunch of snails. Can I add a couple of dalmatian mollys? I am new to this whole fish thing! Thanks!:fish2:

I think they would do alight , but I wouldn't do it in a 10. The mollies need a 20 minimum. Plus mollies may need salt.

They dont require salt, but a 10 is too smal for mollies. 20 g min. Due to their large bio load

I wouldn't do minnows, they like cooler waters. I'd go with platies and neons

Oops. I didn't mean they require salt , I meant some people use salt.

Rosy minnows are also very active schooling fish like a cool water version of a danio. And like danios they need more swimming space than they will have in a 10g.
