Rubberband In Tank?

I am putting panty hose over my filter intake. Rubberband will hold it there.

I use a rubber band to tie food to somthin heavy. Never had problems cept my fish picking at it.

I use rubber bands to hold zucchini and cucumbers down to rocks for the fish.

The only problem with rubber bands is that they will break down in a tank and rot away, so you will have to change them out often - that goes for the colored ones too. Otherwise - no problem at all. Clear silicone hair ties work well also and seem to take a bit longer to lose their holding power.
