Save for shrimp?

Is the Super fish Aquaflow 100 filter safe to use in a shrimp tank? I've got one laying around so maybe I can use that one instead of buying a spongefilter with airpump.

Put a prefilter sponge on the intake siphon add you're good to go.

Hi, I have 2 aqua flow 200 on my shrimp tank and don't have any issues. I actually prefer these filters and add my own media in them.

I have white filter floss at the top, then a net with ceramic rings in and last a sponge (the black one that came with the filter, just removed the carbon inside it and cut it to size)
