I think it could be done, though it can be difficult to find a female. Just plant throughly an make sure there are hiding spots

I don't see why not. You could do a pair in a 2.5 gallon if you wanted to to. They're tiny. The only problem you might face is feeding.
 
Cool I just want to be sure they will have enough space. I picked up that tank and it is great! I made my first video review too, just need to edit :p
