I've been wanting one for quite some time, my lfs got in a batch of local bred that were said to take prepared food. I've had him for a week and as far as I know he's eating because he's a little fatty. He combs through the dhg hunting. Last night he flushed out something and inhaled it! So cool, not sure what it was though? either a little worm or cpd fry. Anyways.. what have you guys found to work and not work with feeding?

I feed the cpds frozen baby brine, it looked like the sb was picking at it but it's kind of tough to tell. At this point I'm assuming it's eating because he fat.

My first ate:
crushed flake
Crushed Hikari micro pellets
Frozen baby bs
Live baby bs
And whatever he could pick at in the tank.

I want to try Golden pearls from Ken's. Supposed to float well.
SBs key in on movement.

Wow, that's not so bad! They're little snipers huh?

Mine came to me trained to eat flakes.

Think tiny stalker creeping around the tank. Very deliberate and focused predators. That's why they get out competed in many tanks.
