I have problem, one of my serpae tetras died and now I only have 2 left. The problem about that is that they have to be in schools. And I was wondering if they can be in a school of two until I get more serpae tetras which I plan to do on Sunday or Monday.I dont know if they HAVE to be in a school of 3. So can anyone please help me?

They'll be fine, if that's what you're asking, but they're happier in schools (most of the time though 3 doesn't really constitute a school).

I wouldn't stress about it.

Thanx I'll probaly get 4 or 5 more of them so they can be more happier! thank you very much!

we have a ton-o-tetras.

a school is best.....school = at least 5

you'll be fine some people keep their fish in groups of 3 and others say thhey should be in a group of atleast 6 but i think 3 is fine. 2 for a couple of days is fine too.
