Alot of schooling fish require a slightly aggressive fish to keep them in line though. Preferably a semi-agressive fish that isnt large enough to eat them though, or cause any real damage...or better yet, one that cant catch them.

My neons dont school, even with a bichir in the tank...then again, his hunting skill is not up to catching fish just yet..I am workin on that.

My vote is for lemon tetras and gouramis.

Current fish (includes all 3 running tanks): Polypterids, severums (of which I raised from eggs), gouramis, plecos (gold spot ones & a gurupa), loaches (zebras, yoyos, & a kubotai), macculocchi spotted silver dollars, an African butterfly fish, & Ctenopomas (a leopard & an ansorgii)
