Seachem Prime

Is this product safe to use for a tank with three little turtles?
I have tried everything (I mean everything), and my tank still gets cloudy the day after changing it.

I don't think Prime would help with cloudiness. Have you tried Seachen Purigen?

I have not used Seachen Purigen? Does it work on cloudy tanks, and is safe for little turtles? I use a turtle waste remover that works well. Does a cloudy tank not mean ammonia/nitrate buildup?

It claims to work on cloudy tanks. Purigen in Seachems version of carbon, but it lasts 6 months and can be reused. Purigen absorbs chemicals, claims to clear water, and should be safe for turtles.

Have you tried using filter floss to clear the water?

yes, have used filter floss but no use...wouldn't the cloudiness be an ammonia/nitrate problem?

What type of turtle are they? How many do you have? What type of filtration are you using and the tank size.

The cloudy water is a sign of a bacterial imbalance.
Not necessarily ammonia or nitrite although either could be present.
Is there cycled media in the filter?

You need a test kit more then turtle waste remover??? IMO.
Prime is safe for fish so it is safe turtles IMO.
The purigen is good stuff but the load on the tank determines how long it will be in effect before it needs recharging.
Are you changing all the water or removing all the media when you do tank maintenance?

I know Prime is used for Hermit Crabs so I assume it's turtle safe as well.
