Semi aggressive tank

Hey all I am looking for ideas for my next fish. I am going for a semi aggressive tank,so far I have:

5 tiger barbs
1 red tail shark
1 electric blue acara

My tank is a 40g and just wondering what you guys think will go well.

I'd say that tank is too small for a full-grown RT Shark. I imagine that the Acara and Tigers will also have problems.

I think you might be stretching it a bit, but if you increase your pump out put and do more wc's it should be ok..........

So far the Tigers and Acara are having no problems they don't bother each other at all fingers crossed it stays that way

It's when they grow to their full size that is the problem. You will need a bigger tank or to rehome the fish.
