Hi~

I'm setting up a Fluval G3 for my 36 gallon bow front tank. (Fully Cycled since July of 2011).

I am currently running 2 penguin 200's (w/o the biowheels). What would be the best advice to do this?

I have a couple of thoughts:

A) set up the g3 to run in tandem with both penguins - remove 1 penguin after 2 weeks (not really sure if I'll be able to fit all the new hoses in though - not much space back there going in/out)...

b) set up g3 to run with one penguin (removing the other immediately) allow it to run for 2-6 weeks in tandem checking water parameters to ensure I don't mini-cycle the tank.

The G3 is unique and there isn't a whole lot of room for used/established filter media from those HOBs. Any creative ideas for cramming some in there?

THOUGHTS? FEEDBACK? OTHER IDEAS?

I'm completely open to suggestions.
