I got 2 blue rams today and I'm pretty sure they're a guy and a girl. But I'm not 100 percent sure. They stay together so I think they paired up:) but I just want an experts opinion to make me 100 percent positive they're opposite sex

Im positive the second pictured one is male. The blue on the pectoral fins tell me that. And the short roundness of the other one leads me towards a female. Very pretty pair i would say! Good luck.

Just as a reminder. Just because you have a male and a female dose not necessarily mean that they will pair up. They may have something against each other, or just have lack of interest in each other . On the other hand they may take to each other and pair up.

Thank you :) and all day they've been swimming with each other and are sleeping near each other. Does that mean they are paired up or just scared and huddling together?

Could mean either. The three i got all huddled together at first then one took off and stayed alone and the other two have hung out ever since then up to a few days ago , they fought and now are avoiding each other.

They may "break up" then get back together , but it all depends on the pair
