Sexing my Bristlenose Pleco

I have a Bristlenose Pleco that I've had for about a month. And I know that males will get Bristles on their nose but I was wondering when. Is my pleco a female or is it still to small to tell? Thanks!

It's still too young to tell.

I don't believe you can tell when young. I saw quite a few juvenile BN plecos at a pet store and none had bristles.......

Yeah that's what I thought... I hope mine is a male because I think the bristles look cool.

after about 6mo old you'll be able to tell. Some Female DO get the bristles just a few and smaller bristles.
