sexing rainbow fish

I just got 2 turquoise rainbow fish and am wondering the best way to tell if male or female. I plan on getting 4 more rainbows and my other question is if I get 1 more turquoise and 3 boesemani will they school together? By the way the blue on my 2 turquoise changes color from a light blue to cobalt blue ...very beautiful looking fish!!!
