Ok, some of these guys are pretty darn cute. I have fallen absolutely IN LOVE with my albino cories. I suppose there isn't a pleco that is small enough for a 20 gallon??? I could never get one and then take him in for adoption when he got too big. I would get too attached.

I just put these pics of my pleco in another thread, but here they are, too.

This is Buddy. My mother got him when he was 1" for her 15 gallon classroom aquarium. Suffice to say, he ended up in my 58 gallon in short order.

Here you can see how long he is. Sorry about the photo quality--it's a bit blurry, and I'm having some algae problems which are in the way of some of these pictures.

Here's a good view of his patterning. I'm assuming he's a run-of-the-mill common pleco. Can anyone confirm me on this?

And here he is in his favorite hidey-hole. He usually spends all of his time either here or suckered upside-down in a hollow log decoration. Not very photogenic, this one.

I do not have a pleco but I have been wanting one for a while... What is the smallest pleco? I want to put one in my 20 gallon.

I think zebra plecos are the smallest at about 3". Expect to pay up to $300 a piece though. Maybe even higher since they are now illegal to import.

How big is your ABNP?

Mine is about 2" now. The other one didn't survive unfortunately. I have have a 7" - 8" common pleco for sale or trade if anyones interested. I would like a small ABNP, fancy guppies, GBR's, or anything small and colorful. Located in Miami, FL. I'll post pics a.s.a.p.

wow, awesome plecos you guys. I always knew they could get real big but never have seen one so big. very impressive.
