Shy cories

I have 4 Juliis in my 30 gallon with 8 tiger barbs and one BNP. The juliis are not very active like normal cories and are always hiding under driftwood. I have good water parameters and I do not see any bullying. Any ideas on what the problem is? I'm considering upping the school to 6

I think that may make a big difference. A happy cory is a cory with a big family, usually.

I have bronze cories at first I only had 3 (today I got 2 more) and that has livened them up a lot.
