siamese algae eater/hair algae

today at the new fish store i went to i got various rainbows and 2 siamese algae eaters. i seperated them because i read put them in either groups of 6 or just 1. so one in my 55 and one in my 20. and these guyys will eat hair aglae correct? i have a lot of hair algae all over my java moss and hornwort so these guys will combat that right?

yes they do, i believe this article says they are the only algae eater to eat hair algae

also they eat flatworms

excellent i just had to tear out a good amount of my hornwort becauyse of the black hair algae but no worries its hornwort! itll grow back quickly but maybe he will eat it all off my java moss
