Silver Dollars?

I have 5 in my tank, they are about 2" long.. LFS says up to 6" they don't really look like they have grown.. how long will it take fot them to get to 6" if they even get that big.

Also looks lie one of the 5 has been nipped/picked on the most, as seen by the lower fin and tail

some fishes take forever to grow =P how long have you had them for?

oh not long.. 2 months, I don't expect them to grow overnight or if I over feed them (Dr. Seuss, Fish Out Of Water ) and no I don't over feed them.

just curious on what to expect.. I have had guppies and watched them grow so I know it is not over night

its prob going to take a while i am guessing, i have never taken care of silver dollars so i dont know what else to tell you =P

Yes..

I have 2 rainbows (thought they were Australian, but not sure), 1 Black Fin Tetra (5 years in my tank), 2 Zebra Danios, 2 Red Glass Tetras, 1 CAE

they move too fast to photograph

I have 2 of them and they took about a year to grow to about 5"

I feed them tetracolor flakes, tetracolor granules, algae wafers(they love those), and tubifex worms.
