slate rock for rescape

So I want to add terraces to a tank and was thinking of using slate rocks to be the walls of the terraces. Do you guys know where i can get some relatively cheap rocks? Doesn't' really have to be slate, anything that is thin-ish

Hit a landscape place or nursery. That's your best bet. Heck, lowes or Home Depot may have some still stock from the summer.
