I try to change the diet of my fishes as often as I can and yesterday was bloodworm day. I noticed that my small fishes (small neons, rasboras) grabbed a big worm but could not manage to eat it. The were followed by bigger fishes trying to grab the pieces hanging from them.

Should I cut bloodworms off the diet until they are bigger ?

That would explain a lot... I am used to feeding my axolotl with complete bloodworms.
It didn't even cross my mind to crush em for the fishes.

Thanks a lot for the quick answer.

Another question now....

I have flake food, vitamin food, bloodworms, brine shrimp.....
anything else I should consider to make em happy?
