Snail id?

Recently got plants that must have had eggs, any idea of what they are and any information in them?

Ramshorn.

To me they are pests. They can/will eat plants. They can have some benefits such as eating leftover food, some algae, dead fish. Mixed bag really. They, IMO, are in the middle ground between MTS and Pond Snails.

You could use the cucumber method. Which requires a b,arched cucumber in the water, this attracts the snails. Then you simple remove them and repeat. You could get Loaches that eat snails. You could get Assassin Snails. Or you could crush them with your fingers until their population goes into manageable size. Your call.
