Hi, I have a 55 gallon tank with a Tiger Oscar that is recovering from HITH, and with him I also have an Ivory Snail that my brother gave me. Just recently, his shell began to crack and grow brown stuff on it. If it needs a new shell, how do I get a hold of one?

Snails do not trade shells. They have 1 for life. They are physically attached to it.
Do you add calcium to the water?

No, I have well water. And where I am, theres alot of calcium in the water

Adding to what absolutangel04 said, your snail is likely fine. If the shell is flaking I would recommend adding a calcium supplement.
My snails often have a bit of a cracked look the their shells, they clean themselves off and look shiny and new in no time!

Get a cuddle bone (the white things birds sharpen there beaks with) and add it to ur tank the snail will eat it and the shell will do better
