Yes, that's a snail. Probably rode in on a plant if you're surprised to see it.

Almost look like glass snails

They will multiply pretty rapidly. They are harmless but unsightly when there are lots. There a many methods to get rid of them but the only one that worked for me was an assassin snail. I bought 2 and they rid if them in about 1 month. Also had a little baby assassin too
