Snails that come w/ plants

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an interest in aquariums or fish keeping!

I don't know the species, but they are often referred to as "pest snails" as the common name. They are generally harmless but they can cause your tank to look unsightly if there's a lot of them on the glass. But they actually eat leftover food and things, so unless they are a real problem, I would just ignore them. I have two skunk loaches to help control my population of snails, but assassin snails will also work if you were looking to remove them.
 
With my plants I have gotten a whole myriad of different snail species. I've gotten MTS, nerites, rams horns, pond snails, etc. but as mentioned not at all bad for a tank.

I haven't any in my aquarium, or at least none that I know of yet. I'm in fact hoping that some have tagged along with my recent plant purchases.
I could use something of a clean up crew and I new pet to look at ;)
I was just curious as to the species I might encounter.
