South America Biotope

Hello.

I'm new to this hobby and i'm just setting up my second tank.

I have a 17 gallon tank which i would like to use to create a biotope centered around rineloricaria lanceolata (whiptail catfish).

I was wondering whether anyone had any suggestions as to what else i could put in it for a biotope set up?
