I open my tank lid to water change today as I do every week and I see reddish brown spots on the top two leafs of the big silk plant from pet co in my betta tank. It is an aqueon mini bow 5 gallon that is filtered and heated and has a lighted hood. There are 2 silk plants, a terra cotta pot, a lighthouse cave, and one elephant ear betta in the tank. I change the water weekly. What is happening to the plant and do I need to cut the specific leafs off, remove the whole plant, or is it fine??
