Staghorn algae

I can tell you that SAEs may pick at it a bit here and there but they don't really eat it. Ottos ignore it...maybe cherry or amano shrimp will eat it???

I had to do the following: Get everything in a nice state of balance in my tank. I added Hygrophila as well to quickly sap up excess nutrients (my tank is about overcrowded for fish stocking and my foods all have high phosphor content). Then applied CO2...pulled masses out by hand whenever I gravel vaccumed and the remainder was quickly out competed by the plants.
