Starting Anew

I have a 30g tall aquarium. Consider it completely empty as this weekend I'll be cleaning it and starting over. What should I do with it? Community tank? Cichlid tank? Aggressive tank? What will give me the most satisfactions?

Halfbeaks are a little large for tank that's taller than wide, and should be kept in larger groups. They also like strong currents and Cardinals don't.

I'd nix those, add 5 Cardinals, and use the Krib as your centerpiece fish.
